It doesn’t matter where the kids are from, what their backgrounds are or what they look like. Summer camp is a place where memories are made and friendships are formed.

My Trip to D.C.  <full article>
In august of 2007, I was voted by the counselors at burn camp to represent Wisconsin at the 2007 IAFF National Burn Camp. This was a great opportunity and I am so lucky I got to go. We left Madison on September 19th. We arrived in D.C. and were met by firefighters who took our bags and shipped us to a nearby fire station by the airport, where we were fed sub sandwiches.

The National Burn Camp Experience  <full article>
The National Burn Camp was an experience like no other. It was a time to meet new people from all over the United States. There were burn survivors of all ages and Firefighters from every State it seemed.
